Location

• Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.

What you’ll do

This is a paid Summer Internship Program (late May to early August). As an intern with our ROV group, you’ll assist with developing and maintaining automated software tests using Qt Squish and Python to help improve the quality, reliability, and performance of our ROV software applications.

Your job responsibilities and projects will be based upon your experience and educational background to provide real life application of your classroom knowledge. You’ll work closely with a mentor to ensure your developmental goals are met and that you meet your performance expectations.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in in DevOps, Software Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Experience with GitHub
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
• No relocation or housing assistance is being offered

DESIRED

• Exposure to physical tools as used for home improvement, wood working, automotive related and similar, programming whether as part of coursework or as a hobby

Working Conditions

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.

• Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
• Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
• Work surface is stable (flat)
