BASICS UNDERNEATH/ SWIM & GYM, is a fine lingerie, bra fitting, swim and activewear boutique, located on popular Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans. Owned and operated for over 20 years by two local women, Basics has earned its reputation as THE place to shop for intimate apparel and swim. We are committed to understanding and meeting our customers' needs and offering the best products, expertise and friendly customer service.

Our Sales Associates are responsible for providing outstanding customer service, establishing and developing strong customer relationships, building individual sales volume and establishing new accounts. Sales Associates have responsibilities including but not limited to: Focus on achieving and exceeding store sales goals Maintain a consistent high level of customer service by creating and developing excellent client relationships Proactively use POS system to record and maintain client information and preferences to drive business Focus all efforts on providing an exceptional customer experience Candidates must have retail experience, preferably boutique or specialty department store, must have excellent communication skills and be self motivated. Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks are essential skills and some college is preferable.
