GENERAL INFO
Dance Project is now accepting applications for Fall 2026 internships! Dance Project, Inc. is a school, a festival, and a community resource. These internships will provide opportunities to work for a non-profit organization and gain insight into the life of arts administration. An ideal intern candidate will be reliable and prompt, with strong verbal and written communication skills, an attention to detail, and an interest in working with a community-minded organization.
Fall internships: mid-August through mid-December Some flexibility may be possible in these dates; please let us know if you have questions about your circumstances.
Eligibility: Interns must be enrolled in a degree-granting institution, and seeking course credit for this internship. Not a student, or not seeking course credit? We welcome your assistance as a Dance Project volunteer. Questions about your eligibility? Please contact Anne at anne@danceproject.org.
Interns typically work 5-15 hours per week and must have access to own laptop/tablet to work from, and reliable internet access/connection for virtual work. Both asynchronous (on your own) and synchronous (on a set schedule) work will be required during the internship. Interns may be assigned to work across multiple areas, if skill sets and interests allow; all interns are expected to help with major Dance Project events when available.
Internships are unpaid; in addition to gaining career-building experience, interns receive parking reimbursement, free dance classes during their internship, academic credit, and opportunities for teacher training (if interested).
Questions about your eligibility? Please contact Anne at anne@danceproject.org.
