JOB SUMMARY
The Expeditor is responsible for executing scheduled field activities related to the delivery of short and long-lead materials, goods, parts, and office inventory for the project. This position oversees multiple facets of the project and field activities to maximize production and increase efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Take field direction from Client representative.
- Contact suppliers, track shipments, and resolve delays or changes.
- Ensure prompt delivery of goods and materials throughout the field.
- Assist with transportation of people as needed.
- Complete and monitor purchase orders as needed.
- Report daily on activities completed.
- Sort, file, and deliver paperwork and supplies to other departments including mail, payroll, and other project documentation and materials.
- Operate forklifts, flatbed trucks, and pickups to secure and deliver loads of various sizes to jobsites.
- Transport employees as needed.
- Provide care and custody of stored materials.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Maintain delivery logs and timesheets.

- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- 3+ years of related work experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience driving on the North Slope

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE
While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have its own accommodation and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands and work environment requirements outlined below are representative of those necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. A post-offer, pre-hire Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to ensure an employee’s ability to safely meet job standards. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable indiv
