SEASONAL JOBS AVAILABLE!
Do you enjoy working outside? Are you 18 years of age or older and have a valid Michigan driver’s license? Do you need a job for the summer before you head off to college? If you answered yes, Eaton County Road Commission may have a summer job for you!
Duties include but not necessarily limited to – sweeping, shoveling, lifting objects weighing upward to 80lbs, walking/standing long periods of time in all types of weather, cleaning, pruning of brush, grass mowing, patching asphalt, concrete, gravel and other roadway surfaces, using rakes, shovels, trimmers and other hand tools and placing/moving/pickup of signs, barricades, and traffic control work.
Requirements: Must be 18 or older at time of hire. Valid Michigan driver’s license with good driving record. No CDL required. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education preparation. Successful applicants will need to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
