Join Our Team as a Seasonal Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery

At Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a flagship hospital of Methodist Health System, we are looking for a dedicated Seasonal Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery unit. This is a full-time position with variable shifts (0645AM to 645PM) on a PRN basis. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your work will support our mission to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare.

What You'll Need

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain one
  • At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience

Your Responsibilities

  • Adhere to hospital standards and promote a cooperative work environment through strong communication and teamwork.
  • Take responsibility for patient/family education and ensure understanding.
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, yourself, and coworkers.
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
  • Administer medications and IVs safely and accurately.
  • Pursue personal and professional growth and development.
  • Use the nursing process to deliver quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
