Sexual Assault Response Advocate

Shelter from the Storm is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Sexual Assault Response Advocate to provide crisis response, advocacy, safety planning, referrals, and support to survivors of sexual assault. This position collaborates with the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), community partners, and the District Attorney’s Victim Assistance Program to strengthen services and increase community awareness. Candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills, a commitment to confidentiality and survivor-centered care, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience working with survivors is preferred. A valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation are required. This is an on-call position requiring travel and availability for crisis response after hours and on weekends.
