Ski Program Design and Marketing Assistantship Internship

SKI PROGRAM DESIGN AND MARKETING ASSISTANT/INTERN This is your chance to follow your passion for ski industry management & sports marketing with Boston’s largest adult social sports organization. Boston Ski & Sports Club (BSSC) is a 55+ year-old company that serves 50K participants annually. BSSC is seeking an outgoing, hands-on, professional to complete a semester-long internship in its skiing & marketing department.

The schedule includes day office hours with frequent night and weekend obligations, including skiing. Interested and qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and resume.

Responsibilities Skiing Manage logistics to ensure that each day trip runs at maximum efficiency, sales and profit. Promote and grow the ski program via outreach to individuals, groups and businesses, social media, social events and other sales & marketing avenues. Monitor registrations and conditions for each trip and make appropriate operational decisions (i.e. # buses, # leaders, weather).

Coordinate with Trip Leaders logistical details on ski day trips Lead BSSC Skiing Day Trips Conduct ongoing market research to stay informed of competitors, trends, etc. Marketing Assist the Marketing Coordinator, Manager & Director with daily projects & activities Assist with the development and execution of advertising, marketing and promotional activities Assist with all grassroots marketing efforts Assist with the organization and set up of on-site marketing events, including the marquee skiing event, the BSSC Blizzard Assist with new ideas and content to grow all social media channels Help develop new, unique, and innovative ideas to market BSSC Sponsorships Assist with the fulfillment and execution of sponsorship agreements Assist with the organization and execution of on-site sponsor sampling opportunities Assist with the creation of proof of performance documentation for each BSSC sponsor General Office Maintain knowledge of all company offerings in order to provide customer service to incoming callers and event and league participants Attend activities and assist in office operations as needed Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship Pay: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Application Question(s): How many years of skiing experience do you have?
