About the Internship Deko Nail Lounge & Spa is looking for a creative, organized, and motivated Social Media & Digital Content Intern to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone interested in social media marketing, content creation, beauty, and digital marketing . You will work directly with our business to create content, manage our social media presence, track performance, and help us grow our local audience.

Our business offers nail services, pedicures, waxing, facials, and laser hair removal, so there will be plenty of opportunities to create different types of beauty and lifestyle content. We are looking for someone who enjoys social media, understands current trends, and wants real-world experience building a brand.

What You'll Do Help manage Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook Film and edit short-form videos for Reels and TikTok Create before-and-after content featuring our services Capture photos and videos inside the salon and spa Write captions and prepare posts for social media Help plan weekly and monthly content Research current beauty, Instagram, and TikTok trends Create Instagram Stories and other daily content Assist with promotional campaigns, new services, and special events Track views, reach, engagement, follower growth, and other social media analytics Review content performance and identify what is working Help organize our photo and video content library Assist with basic Canva graphics when needed Work with our team to develop new content ideas Who We're Looking For You may be a good fit if you are: A college student, recent graduate, or beginner looking to build real marketing experience Interested in social media, digital marketing, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or content creation Comfortable using Instagram and TikTok Comfortable filming with a smartphone Familiar with Reels and short-form video Creative and able to bring new ideas to the table Organized and dependable Comfortable working in a busy salon and spa environment Willing to learn and take feedback

Experience with Canva, CapCut, Meta Edits, Adobe Express, or other video editing tools is a plus, but we are also willing to work with someone who is still developing their skills. What You'll Learn This internship is designed to provide real, hands-on experience rather than just administrative work. You will gain experience in: Social media management Content strategy Short-form video production Instagram and TikTok growth Social media analytics Local business marketing Beauty industry marketing Content planning and scheduling Brand development Creating content designed to turn viewers into actual customers You'll also have the opportunity to build real work for your portfolio and see how your content performs with an established local beauty business.

Schedule Part-time internship with a flexible schedule. Because a major part of this position involves capturing real salon and spa content, some hours will need to be completed on-site at Deko Nail Lounge & Spa in Altamonte Springs .
