Through live events, campus marketing, digital engagement, strategic partnerships, and community-building initiatives, Campus After Dark is developing a scalable, multi-campus entertainment brand that brings the college experience to life beyond the classroom. As we continue expanding across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and future markets, our focus is on building a recognizable brand where entertainment, social connection, and campus culture come together.

The

Role Campus After Dark is seeking a creative, social-media-driven Social Media Content Creator Intern  to help capture, create, and tell the story of our growing brand. This is a  hybrid internship based in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area , combining remote content planning and editing with in-person attendance at select Campus After Dark events, content days, meetings, and brand initiatives. The Social Media Content Creator Intern will work closely with leadership, marketing, creative, and event teams to produce engaging content that showcases the Campus After Dark experience and builds excitement before, during, and after our events.

What You'll Do Create engaging short-form video and photo content for  TikTok, Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms . Capture high-quality content at Campus After Dark events, activations, content days, and other company initiatives. Edit event recaps, promotional videos, interviews, behind-the-scenes content, and social-first videos.

Develop creative content concepts surrounding upcoming events, campus launches, announcements, and brand campaigns. Help tell the Campus After Dark story through authentic, entertaining, and culturally relevant content. Write engaging captions, hooks, calls-to-action, and other social media copy.

Monitor trends, sounds, formats, memes, and emerging content styles relevant to college audiences. Assist with developing and maintaining social media content calendars. Support live event coverage through Stories, short-form video, interviews, and real-time content.

Engage with our digital community through comments, messages, reposts, and interactive content. Collaborate with graphic design, marketing, campus ambassadors, events, and leadership on integrated campaigns. Track basic content performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for growth.

Contribute original ideas for recurring content series, campus-specific campaigns, and brand storytelling. What We're Looking For Strong understanding of  TikTok, Instagram, Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and short-form content creation . Ability to capture engaging photo and video content using a smartphone, camera, or similar equipment.

Experience with  CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or comparable editing platforms  is preferred. Strong creative instincts and an understanding of what makes social content engaging, shareable, and relevant. Familiarity with current social media trends and college-aged audiences.

Strong written communication and caption-writing skills. Comfortable capturing content and interacting with others in energetic, fast-paced live event environments. Ability to take creative direction while also bringing original ideas to the team.

Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines. Interest in  entertainment, nightlife, events, digital marketing, branding, music, or college culture . Current student or recent graduate studying Communications, Marketing, Media, Digital Marketing, Film, or a related field preferred but not required.

Previous professional content creation experience is  not required ; personal, academic, freelance, or student-organization work is welcomed. Portfolio, social media account, or examples of previous content strongly preferred. What You'll Gain This internship provides hands-on experience creating content for a growing college entertainment company.

You'll have opportunities to produce content used in real marketing campaigns and live events , strengthen your creative portfolio, collaborate across multiple areas of the business, and see your work reach college audiences across different campuses and markets. You'll also gain exposure to  social media strategy, digital marketing, brand development, event marketing, audience engagement, content analytics, and multi-market brand growth. Internship Details Work Arrangement:  Hybrid — South Jersey/Philadelphia area Position Type:  Internship Compensation:  Unpaid Academic Credit:  College credit may be available for eligible students, subject to approval by their college or university.

Because Campus After Dark operates within the live entertainment space,  some in-person event coverage may take place during evenings and weekends. Availability requirements will be communicated in advance. Campus After Dark is willing to work with students and their institutions to complete applicable academic internship requirements.

Students are responsible for confirming eligibility with their school. We're looking for someone who doesn't just follow trends—we want a creator who can help  capture the energy of Campus After Dark and turn it into content that makes people want to be part of what happens next.
