Hola Cultura relies on interns, fellows and volunteers to help us celebrate Latine arts, humanities and cultural life and report on issues of importance to the entire community. Over the course of a decade, we’ve worked with hundreds of high school, college and graduate students, as well as young professionals looking to build professional skills while serving the community.
If you are interested in applying for a fellow or intern position, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions, please email us at volunteers@holacultura.com.
SPEL Opportunities
We recruit for our online Storytelling Program for Experiential Learning (SPEL) program three times a year (*spring, summer and fall*). The 2026 fall semester will run from September 22 to December 1, 2026. SPEL meets remotely every Tuesday for professional development trainings and collaborative story lab time. To be considered, you must be available for these weekly Zoom meetings. Currently, SPEL has the following storytelling teams: Arts & Humanities and Society & Culture and a Copy Editing team. Learn more about the program on the SPEL page and view open fellow and intern positions below.
