Social Media Intern (Cobb County Residents Only)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing, relationship management, and advertising within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a keen interest in leveraging social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

Duties Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences to inform content creation.

Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and feedback; engage with followers to build relationships. Utilize social listening tools to analyze audience sentiment and track brand mentions across platforms. Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics using Adobe Illustrator for promotional campaigns.

Support e-commerce initiatives by promoting products through targeted social media advertising. Help maintain the company's online presence by updating website content as needed.

Experience Familiarity with social media marketing principles and best practices is preferred.

Experience with relationship management and customer engagement strategies is a plus. Knowledge of advertising techniques on various social media platforms is beneficial. Proficiency in research methods to gather insights on market trends and audience behavior.

Basic skills in Adobe Illustrator or similar graphic design software are desired. Understanding of web analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness is an advantage. A strong interest in e-commerce trends and practices will be beneficial for this role.
