IndieCade Staff Internships offer hands-on experience supporting the organization’s year-round operations, projects, and events. These part-time, remote positions provide an opportunity to contribute to the independent games community while developing professional skills in areas such as media, design, production, and communications. Interns may focus on a specific role or assist across multiple areas depending on their interests, experience, and availability.
All IndieCade internships are unpaid but can be arranged for academic credit. Positions are open to applicants from any background who are enthusiastic about creative collaboration and independent games. Applications are open year-round. Social Media Specialist (Internship)
The Social Media Specialist will help shape our online presence across platforms including X/Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Responsibilities include developing and executing promotional campaigns, writing engaging copy, and scheduling content to support organizational initiatives.
Preferred skills: Strong writing and communication abilities, understanding of social media strategy, and familiarity with analytics tools. Optional expanded role: Assist in assembling newsletters and email campaigns using Brevo (or similar marketing platforms).
