Job Purpose
The CNH Soil and Crop Modeling (SCM) Team develops cutting-edge simulation technologies that help design and optimize agricultural equipment used around the world. Our team combines expertise in engineering, physics, and computational modeling to simulate how soil and crop materials interact with machine components, enabling faster innovation and more efficient product development. SCM engineers utilize advanced modeling techniques, including the Discrete Element Method (DEM), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD), to evaluate machine performance in virtual environments. These tools allow the team to support concept development, solve complex engineering challenges, and improve equipment designs long before physical testing begins. As an SCM intern, you will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, contributing directly to the development of virtual crop and soil models, simulation workflows, and validation activities. Interns are valued members of the team and play an active role in advancing CNH's simulation capabilities and engineering innovation.
