All PSSG internships are PAID hourly!

The Sports Management Intern will assist in the day-to-day operations of all sports leagues and events. Duties will include league supervision, inventory management, staff management, customer service & more! The internship requires evening and weekend hours. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and running PSSG leagues and tournaments
• Supervise leagues in all sports
• Deliver equipment to league locations
• Provide excellent customer service on site and over the phone
• Manage equipment & t-shirt inventory
• Includes work at parties & events on weeknights and weekends
• Socialize and promote the PSSG brand

Requirements

• Degree or enrolled towards a degree in business, sports management, physical education or recreation
• Ability to work approx 30 hours per week split between office hours and on site at leagues/events
• Familiarity with the city of Chicago
• Friendly, outgoing and interested in socializing with others
• Interested in sports and recreational activities
• Past officiating/umpiring experience is preferred but not required
• MUST have a car available (mileage reimbursed)
• Valid driver's license
