Senator Alex Padilla of California invites applicants for legislative/general internships with his Washington, DC and California offices for the Spring 2027 term.

Responsibilities include attending legislative briefings/hearings, assisting staff with research and drafting documents, responding to constituent communications, and other duties as assigned. The internship position requires outstanding organizational abilities, ability to receive and implement detailed feedback, strong communication skills, and attention to detail. Motivated and hard-working applicants are encouraged to apply.

The application deadline is October 9, 2026 at 11:59pm EST. Applicants with California ties and/or current California residents will be given high consideration. Please no walk-ins or phone calls.
