Spring 2027 Public Policy Intern

At Mitzvah Circle, we think differently about people in need. We support individuals and families experiencing poverty, homelessness and serious illness, serving people walking along life’s edge by providing individualized material support, case management and coaching. Our Public Policy Intern will assist with program data analysis, community outreach, and program implementation tasks.

In general, policy interns work on outreach with respect to elected officials, research, data analysis, grant prospecting, etc. Specific work is dependent upon current needs/projects. This is an excellent opportunity for students seeking real-world experience in non-profit management and community outreach.

Interns will work with staff, volunteers, and other social service organizations. Excel experience is required. We will provide a $500 stipend upon successful completion of the internship.

We are happy to work with students toward academic credit. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, and the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment. This is an in-person position.

All internships are at 435 Doylestown Road, Lansdale, PA . You will need your own transportation. We are not able to provide drop-off or pick-up from the train station.

We will do background checks on all interns. Students must have completed at least their sophomore year of school with a minimum 3.0 GPA. This internship is for a minimum of 8 hours a week.

You can choose your days: Mondays through Thursdays from 9am-1pm. We are happy to have you work more than 2 days a week. The internship starts the week of January 11th, and you need to commit to stay through April 30th even if you complete required hours sooner.
