The Pittsburgh Riverhounds organization includes Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC, Pittsburgh Riveters SC, the Riverhounds Development Academy, F.N.B. Stadium, and AHN Montour Sports Complex.
Program Overview
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds are seeking college students for our Spring 2027 Rotational Associates Program. Beginning in February 2027 and continuing through the end of the spring semester, the program offers hands-on experience in the business of professional sports and live entertainment. Associates will gain exposure to ticket sales, corporate partnerships, marketing, merchandise, event operations, and academy programming while supporting daily business initiatives and delivering a welcoming experience for fans. The spring term offers a valuable opportunity to experience the preparation behind a new season, from planning and community outreach to bringing those plans to life on matchdays. We are looking for students who are curious, dependable, and ready to contribute while learning from staff across the organization. This program is only open to college students participating for academic credit.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support ticketing, corporate partnership, and merchandise projects, including outreach, research, and introductory reporting.
- Assist with marketing campaigns, social media content, promotions, and community engagement.
- Help prepare for the upcoming season through departmental planning and event preparation.
- Serve on the game night staff during home matches held within the program term, assisting with fan experience and promotional activities.
- Support stadium event scheduling, recordkeeping, and event readiness.
- Assist with academy initiatives and additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in college and eligible to receive academic credit.
- Available to participate from February 2027 through the end of the spring semester.
- Available for at least 75% of Riverhounds home matches occurring during the program term.
- Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
- Willingness to ask questions, take initiative, and work collaboratively.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in sports business and live events; enthusiasm for soccer is a plus.
Scheduling
Applicants should include their anticipated class schedule, weekly availability, and any academic-credit requirements with their application. Evening and weekend availability will be needed for applicable matches and events.
