POSITION SUMMARY / DETAILS

This internship provides hands-on experience supporting the ADI program through data analysis, data quality, reporting, and governance activities. The selected student will work with business and technical partners to organize, validate, analyze, and communicate data that supports project decisions and operational readiness. The role offers exposure to enterprise data practices, analytics tools, and a large-scale technology implementation.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist with analyzing project and operational datasets, identifying trends, and preparing clear summaries, dashboards, or status reports.
• Data Quality Support: Review data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy; document issues and support follow-up with data owners or project teams.
• Data Documentation: Help maintain data definitions, inventories, mapping documents, process notes, and other project artifacts.
• Governance and Controls: Support data governance activities, including standards, issue tracking, access documentation, and evidence collection.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with ADI team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements, respond to questions, and communicate findings.

PHYSICAL LOCATION OF INTERNSHIP

605 Lake Kathy Drive, Brandon, FL 33510 (primary reporting location; work assignments may include meetings or activities at other company locations, as business needs require).

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / GPA

The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university or college undergraduate or graduate-level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• To qualify as a co-op student, enrollment in the university's co-op program is required.

Preferred Year in School: Junior, Senior, or Graduate student

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Analytical Skills: Ability to organize information, evaluate data, recognize patterns, and communicate practical insights.
• Technical Tools: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools is preferred.
• Data Management: Basic understanding of data quality, databases, data governance, or reporting concepts.
• Communication: Ability to explain findings clearly in written, verbal, and visual formats.
• Attention to Detail: Consistent focus on accuracy, documentation, version control, and timely follow-through.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is performed primarily in a normal office environment at Lake Kathy. The intern may participate in meetings, demonstrations, testing, or project activities in operational or technical settings and must follow all applicable safety, security, and site-access requirements.

PREFERRED AVAILABILITY

Part-time, ideally 20-30 hours per week, aligned with academic commitments and business needs.
