Job Overview

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

This intern will support Aclara's Water and Gas Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) market by researching technology trends and market developments. This role provides hands-on experience in market intelligence, competitive analysis, and strategic research while working closely with business and product leaders. Key responsibilities include developing updated profiles, comparing products and technologies across the industry, and identifying emerging trends, market shifts, and new competitive entrants to help inform business strategy and decision-making.

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May-August 2027), pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the internship (required)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and online research tools.
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Intern compensation is determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date. Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour ($46,800–$60,320 annualized equivalent).
