Staff Accountant – Internship

Staff Accountant – Internship Pinnacle Business Solutions is a certified public accounting firm located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Its focus is to provide its clients with superior financial, accounting and tax support that allows them to more effectively manage and grow their businesses. Pinnacle is in search of qualified candidates to support this growth.

This staff accountant internship position is responsible for providing accounting, finance, tax and business support to Pinnacle Business Solutions and its clients. This position will also have the opportunity to represent the firm at various civic events in the Phoenix Metropolitan area. This is a one year internship with an option to extend for a second year.

A GPA of 3.5 or greater is required.

Qualifications candidate must be pursuing an accounting or finance degree and have a grade point average of 3.5 or greater Learning objective candidate will learn financial and costs accounting, income tax, employment tax, sales tax and property tax, business financial analysis/planning, business valuation, debt/equity financing Supervisor title candidate will report to Paul J. Beckert - President of Pinnacle Business Solutions Training the intern will receive candidate will receive training from supervisor according to a predefined ramp plan to include: finance, accounting and tax training Hours per week candidate will work between 10 - 20 hours per week
