Start dates vary for the three different SM intern tracks. All contracts run thru Wednesday, August 05, 2026 . Interns will work alongside Equity Stage Managers and Assistant Stage Managers. There is the opportunity to learn from those you are working, but interns will also have assigned responsibilities ranging from photocopying to prop tracking, feeding lines and helping to run the deck backstage. Interns will also be a part of the repertory changeover crew.

PSF's summer theatre series is a fast-paced work environment necessitating strong multitasking and data tracking skills. An ideal candidate will be team and goal oriented and receptive to the adaptive problem solving required to mitigate the ever-evolving needs of a vigorous theatre series. Patience and mediation skills are required to ensure a professional and inclusive work environment at all times. Established experience in theatrical stage management and/or touring environs is required. The Stage Managers, Company Management and Production Management work closely together to ensure a smooth and inclusive work environment. Safety and precision are our foremost priorities.
