Role Overview
We're looking for experts with PhDs in STEM subjects (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Maths, Physics) to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. Comfort with narrating problem-solving approaches required.
Key Details
- Pay: Up to $150/hr per AI task completed. Tasks typically require 1 hour of uninterrupted work.
- Commitment: Flexible; must be prepared for paid tasks on demand.
Requirements
- PhD (or candidacy) in a STEM field (e.g., Statistics, AI/ML, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics)
- Strong subject matter expertise and problem-solving ability for complex technical problems
- Interest in AI/ML (bonus but not required)
- Willingness to narrate thinking out loud
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, fast internet connection and computer
- PayPal account for payments
Responsibilities
- Work through complex STEM problems while narrating reasoning
- Screen-record approach to tasks
- Review/evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, depth, reasoning
- Compare multiple model answers and select/justify best response
- Write improved exemplars or feedback when models fall short
