At Target, we help all families discover the joy of everyday life. As a \*\*Store Executive Intern\*\*, you'll get a hands-on, realistic preview of what it's like to lead a retail team. This paid internship runs \*\*40 hours per week\*\* and is designed to prepare you for an Executive Team Leader (Assistant Store Manager) role.

What You'll Do

You’ll spend your days learning to lead and motivate a team, drive sales, merchandise products, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. A typical day includes:

• Leading team members on the salesfloor and backroom
• Working alongside an ETL mentor to understand their role
• Partnering with leaders on team member performance
• Presenting at daily huddles and planning priorities
• Reviewing business reporting to identify opportunities
• Ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for guests

Who We're Looking For

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy helping others. \*\*No previous retail management experience is required\*\*, but a strong interest in retail leadership is key. You should be:

• Comfortable working a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Able to lift up to 44 pounds and move merchandise
• Proficient with technology and handheld devices
• An effective communicator with a welcoming attitude

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: \*\*$27.25 – $28.25 per hour\*\*, based on factors like labor markets and experience.
