About the job
Are you interested in developing and publishing scientific stories, while learning every step of magazine publication along the way? Are you interested in developing professional communications materials in an academic, health-related context?
The Office of Strategic Communications, Health Sciences, is seeking one intern for Pitt Med Magazine and one for the strategic communications writing team.
Both positions require excellent written communication skills. Health or medical writing experience is a plus, as is an enthusiasm for scientific research and the ability to express it in plain language.
Your internship will include training on our social media platform, Sprout Social, and if your schedule permits, you may participate in some department-wide strategy sessions.
Minimum 12 hours per week, unpaid (academic credit)
Application deadline: November 5
