About the role
Student Guide Program
First-, second- and third-year University of Georgia undergraduate students from any major or college can join this student leadership and ambassador program to gain experience in research and public speaking. Student guides are paid, participate for up to 5 hours a week and meet weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters. While they meet, they learn how research, create and lead object-based public tours at the museum. Not an art history expert? Don't worry. We'll train you. Tours take place on weekends during the spring semester.
Student guides also represent the museum at various campus-wide and museum events and advocate for the museum as a key space and resource on campus.
