About the role
This position will support the day-to-day operation of the esports facility, event coordination, student engagement, digital content creation, data management, and competitive esports activities. This position is designed to provide an entry-level professional experience for a student interested in event management, facility operations, athletics, esports, student engagement, marketing, technology, or higher education., Esports Facility Operations Support the day-to-day operation and organization of the Mighty Banyans Esports facility Assist with setting up and breaking down events, tournaments, watch parties, and other activities Welcome and check in students and event participants Provide basic technical support to students using the esports facility and equipment Help maintain an organized, welcoming, and functional space for competitive and recreational gaming Communicate facility needs, equipment concerns, and operational issues to the Director of Esports Support the use of the esports space by student clubs and campus organizations Event Planning & Student Engagement Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing Mighty Banyans Esports events and activities Develop new event concepts for NCF students and the broader community Support programming as: Casual gaming tournaments Competitive gaming tournaments Watch parties Summer camps Student club activities Other esports and gaming-related events Assist with event logistics, registration, check-in, setup, promotion, and evaluation Help identify opportunities to increase student participation and engagement Work with the Director of Esports to expand programming as new competitive titles and opportunities are introduced Graphic Design & Social Media Create graphics and promotional materials for esports events and activities Develop social media content using Canva and other graphic design tools Assist with promoting events, tournaments, team activities, and student opportunities Maintain consistent and engaging visual communications for Mighty Banyans Esports Collaborate with the Director of Esports to develop creative promotional strategies Data Collection & Reporting Collect and organize data related to student usage of the esports facility Track participation and engagement in esports events and activities Maintain spreadsheets and other tracking systems using tools such as Microsoft Excel Generate reports and summaries related to facility usage and student engagement Analyze participation data to help identify trends and opportunities to improve programming and support student success Present relevant data and findings to the Director of Esports and other stakeholders Competitive Esports & Program Support Provide additional support for competitive esports operations as needed Assist with team practices, matches, tournaments, and other competitive activities Support broadcasting and production activities when appropriate Assist with team and event scheduling Help coordinate logistics for competitive gaming activities Support other projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth and success of Mighty Banyan Esports Other duties as assigned., No specific major is required Highly organized, creative, enthusiastic, and dependable student who is interested in esports, gaming, event coordination, student engagement, athletics, or facility operations
