About the role
The UVU FinTech Center (UFTC) is seeking a detail-oriented student to help execute student-led research projects, event planning, industry partnerships, and outreach — supporting day-to-day operations, including the lecture series and curriculum work in AI, blockchain, data science, and financial planning technology.
- Coordinate undergrad/grad student project teams with industry partners
- Plan and promote monthly FinTech lectures and the annual conference
- Maintain partnerships with Utah-based FinTech companies
- Track student involvement metrics and document outcomes
- Support Women in FinTech mentorship programming
- Facilitate collaboration with European and Asian university partners
- Maintain digital records and event logistics
- Must be a current UVU student.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in business/finance/econ/CS;
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom, and Google Workspace
- Interest in FinTech topics; strong organization and communication; multicultural awareness.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with tools like Microsoft Office, Canva, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
- Interest in or experience with FinTech topics such as AI, blockchain, financial planning, or data analytics.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Multicultural awareness and enthusiasm for cross-institutional partnerships.
