About the role

Position Summary

POSITION LOCATED IN KEARNEY, NE Provide confidential and informal assistance to UNMC students at Kearney Campus: acting as a source of information and referral and aiding in answering individual’s questions. Collaborates with UNMC leadership to promote overall student well-being, help student adjust to the demands of health professions training programs, and support students throughout their journey.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's degree

Required Experience 2 years

Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Demonstrated ability to act independently and engage with a student population as a resource. Experience working across disciplines or multiple departments/units. Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive student information and refer as appropriate.

Preferred Education: Master's degree

Preferred Experience: Relevant experience in higher education and/or health profession programs.

Preferred License: No

Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: An understanding of the path to, through, and following health profession training programs.
