Student Worker - Social Media Assistant

Pay Rate: 9.50 Key Components: In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with functions around marketing trends, communications outreach, creative design and production (print and digital) Job Description: Provide support to faculty and staff in a range of social media marketing projects. Coordinate with faculty and staff on preparing, scheduling, and posting social media content. This includes capturing stories about our graduate and undergraduate students, managing social media accounts, content creation, and design work.

The ideal candidate is motivated, proactive, organized, social media-savvy, and creative. • Develop social media strategies with the aim of increasing brand awareness. Create captivating content for an organization’s social media sites, which may include writing short articles, posts, and preparing multimedia content. Stay up to date with the latest social media trends.

Independently create social media posts and monitor comments Be responsible for ensuring marketing content adheres to branding guidelines to comply with university policies. Establish and maintain positive relationship with administrative team. Have experience with tools and platforms related to content creation and social media.

Be able to manage multiple projects successfully. Provide excellent customer service to constituents. Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
