Principal
Duties and
Responsibilities This position will support the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization to improve efficiency across thecompany's Gulfstream fleet. Interns will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, Dispatch Senior Managerand VP of Flight Ops to complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for all mission-specificGulfstream fleets (e.g., production test, demonstration, Airborne Customer Support). Complete assigned projects and work plans that include - but are not limited to – flight safety systems, business intelligence/analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
Support efficient work practices and processes. Additional Functions Comply with safety rules and procedures. Ensure application of all Gulfstream regulations and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements Currently enrolled in a college aviation program such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology (A&P technician), aviation maintenance or a related field. Knowledge and understanding of multiple operating systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation.
Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
