  • Contributing during strategic brainstorming and planning sessions
  • Developing media lists and coverage reports
  • Coordinating various elements related to news conferences, grand openings and other special events
  • Capturing compelling photos and videos

Applicant Requirements

It’s a must that our applicants demonstrate enthusiasm for the communications field, a genuine desire to learn about this industry and confidence that they can begin contributing on day one. We’ll also be looking for individuals who are:

  • Strong writers with solid verbal communications skills
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to multi-task and manage their time
  • Working towards a degree in communications, public relations, journalism or another related field (Junior/senior standing preferred, although consideration will be given to recent graduates)
  • Proficient working in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to commit 16 to 20 hours per week (opportunities for more hours may be considered)
  • Flexible hours available to accommodate class schedules
