About the role
Summer Analyst Each year, Genesis Capital offers a summer internship for rising college seniors. Candidates should be in their junior year, pursuing a degree in any major with exceptional academic achievement and possess strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills. Summer interns are staffed alongside full-time analysts on live transactions during their time with us; by the end of the program, they will have gained first-hand deal experience and will fully understand the Analyst role.
Some of the summer interns primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: extensive company and industry research, financial modeling, valuation analysis, document drafting, gathering due diligence on client companies, meeting with company management, assisting in the preparation of presentations to companies and their Board of Directors. Our prior summer interns have matriculated to full-time positions with Genesis Capital as well as with leading, national investment banks and private equity firms including Audax Group, Banc of America Securities, Citigroup Corporate and Investment Banking, Duff & Phelps, Guggenheim Partners, Houlihan Lokey, Roark Capital and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Others have been accepted to attend post-graduate studies at leading universities and have started their own businesses.
