About the role:
As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems.
You will report to the HVAC and BOP Fluid Systems Manager and be located at our Rock Hill facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, and analysis of mechanical systems and components
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, reports, and calculation notes
- Support ongoing projects by authoring and verifying non-conformance reports
- Participate in technical presentations and written communications for customers and management
- Research new technologies and manufacturing processes
- Solve technical engineering problems
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team to improve processes and design assembly fixtures
- Participate in design reviews and present technical designs and analysis results to team members
- Support the department with necessary technical, lab testing, or clerical work
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- Completed Sophomore year of college
