Team Photographer Intern

We accept 1-2 photographers every year as interns. Typically, one intern will be responsible for covering home games while another will travel with the team. These interns should have their own equipment or reliable access to equipment and be knowledgeable in all aspects of producing quality semi-professional photos.

Interns will be expected to take pictures during all aspects of game days, this includes in-game pictures, during warm-ups, and other activities at the park (on-field games, events/vendors, sponsors, etc.). Interns may also be asked to be present at community events that the Turks participate in. They will be responsible for staff and player headshots as well as the official team photo.

Pictures of other interns doing their duties is encouraged. All photos will be uploaded in a timely manner to a shared location. Interns will collaborate closely with the Social Media Intern(s) on photography coverage and utilization.

Every year the Harrisonburg Turks offer a variety of non-paying internships to college students, for class credit and/or work experience. These internships help with various aspects of our team and help to ensure a successful season. If you are interested in any of the internships below, please let us know ASAP.

We begin looking for interns for the next season as soon as the current season ends.
