Job Title: Tournament Operations and Development Intern

We are looking for an in-person intern to join our Tournament Operations team during the fall and winter. The intern will work in the office a few days per week, assisting with day-to-day tournament operations and future tournament development. This role reports to the Special Event Operations Coordinators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with tournament and facility scheduling
• Communicate with teams, coaches, facilities, and event staff
• Research and prospect teams for future tournaments
• Identify and prospect potential facilities and locations for future events
• Organize event information and operational documents
• Update internal systems and registration records
• Help with general tournament planning and preparation

Qualifications:

• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable communicating professionally with teams, coaches, and staff
• Interest in sports management, event operations, sales, or tournament development
• Available to work in person a few days per week during the fall and winter
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and basic scheduling/registration systems

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods in an office and tournament/facility setting
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (event materials and equipment)
• Occasional travel to tournament and facility sites as needed
