Home Healthcare Professional in Lexington, Kentucky. This position involves providing home health services with a focus on patient treatment and care through the Home Health division. The role requires a licensed professional capable of managing patient visits, including start of care, recertifications, and evaluations, within a home health setting.

Job Details

**Schedule:** 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with a rotating weekend schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Qualifications

• Licensure in Kentucky
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant home health experience

Preferred Qualifications

• No specific additional qualifications required; candidates with no recent experience are not preferred.

Experience or Skills

• Home health experience with knowledge of common diagnoses such as CHF, orthopedic issues, and pneumonia.
• Experience with Home Care Homebase (HCHB) charting system.

Additional Information

• Must have a license in hand upon submission.
• Phone and tablet will be provided for documentation and communication.
• Two-week orientation with a preceptor and occasional visits with a work coach.
• Clinical manager or educator available 24/7 for emergencies or during standard business hours.
• Single shift length between 5 to 8 hours; weekend and holiday rotation required.
• Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
