Shift Information
- Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, 36 or 48 hours guaranteed weekly
- Sunday through Saturday availability as needed
- No call requirements
Qualifications
- Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure
- BLS from AHA
- ACLS from AHA
- At least 1 year of inpatient Med Surg experience
Experience
- 1 year of hospital inpatient Med Surg care
Additional Information
Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate patient care and coordinate activities with ancillary departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Works within the scope of nursing practice outlined by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and organization standards. High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids; physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, bending, and stooping.
Unit Details
- Number of beds: 15 (with 15 under construction)
- Patient ratios: 1:5-6 (day shifts), 1:6-7 (night shifts)
- Equipment used: Nova Meters, Alaris IV pump, Kangaroo pumps, SCD machine
- EMR: EPIC
Additional Notes
This position is an auto-offer and may be floated to other units based on staffing needs. The night orientation occurs during day shifts, and candidates must be available for the entire orientation week.

Pay Package
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
