Required Qualifications

• Certifications include NIHSS, TNCC, BLS, PALS, and ACLS

• ER nursing experience of at least 1 year
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• BSN degree is highly preferred
• Travel experience is advantageous

Additional Information

The emergency department handles a varied patient population including urgent care cases, psychiatric, pediatric, and critical trauma patients. ER nurses must be proficient in managing critical care skills such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass transfusions, and chest tubes. The environment demands coordination to ensure safety, quality, and a positive patient experience. Float rotation may be required.
