Job Summary
The Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) registered nurse position is located in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a short-term acute care setting, with responsibilities including managing cardiac drips, post-catheterization care, and tracheostomy/ventilator management. The position requires flexibility to float between units and is scheduled for night shifts.
Schedule
Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas state nursing license or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- Experience with cardiac drips, post-catheterization care, and tracheostomy/ventilator management preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic charting (Epic)
- Community hospital settings
- Level I or Level II trauma experience
Additional Requirements
- ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications
- Proficiency in managing ports, arterial lines, sterile technical procedures, and cardiac telemetry
- Flexibility for working holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)
- References from the past three years
Float
Float rotation may be required between units.

Pay Package
