Job Summary

Job Details
Schedule: 7:30 am - 3:00 pm, with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing
- Current registered nurse license in New York State
- 3-5 years of nursing clinical care experience with preferred Charge Nurse or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in Nursing or a health-related field
- Supervisory or charge nurse experience in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of high reliability principles, interdisciplinary collaboration, and quality improvement strategies
Responsibilities
- Lead nursing practice utilizing the Professional Practice Model of Relationship Centered Care and Modified Primary Nursing
- Promote patient experience excellence through purposeful hourly rounding and staff engagement
- Conduct shift huddles and effective communication among team members
- Initiate service recovery and escalate concerns appropriately
- Monitor quality and safety compliance
- Participate in root cause analysis and safety initiatives
- Ensure clinical documentation accuracy and staff competence
- Foster a safety-oriented culture and quality improvement practices
