Fashion Mingle is global network for fashion industry professionals and offers remote UX/UI internships for a SaaS platform that features career, networking, and communication tools to grow a fashion business.

Interns who join our team will work end-to-end on UX/UI design projects, getting experience in user research, design, and testing. Applicants must be passionate about the business of fashion and have a strong portfolio in aesthetically pleasing user experiences for web and mobile platforms. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with Figma, HTML, Style Sheets, and workflow management.

Responsibilities:

• Create new concepts and continuously improve the experience of our rapidly growing user base.
• Design new features and upgrade existing features, test your designs with users and present to the team.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows and user stories based on research.
• Assist in conducting user interviews/usability testing.
• Communicate in weekly progress reports and meetings.

Requirements:

Fashion Mingle's internships are designed for UX/UI Design undergrad students, grad students or recent college graduate.

Applicants must be self-starters with the ability to create project plans, execute independently, and communicate in a professional manner. Position requires a 3 month commitment for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Candidates will be required to show UX/UI portfolio projects and discuss methodology as part of the interview process.

Compensation:

The UX/UI Internship is unpaid – interns who are chosen will receive college credit. We also offer the following benefits:

Location:

Fashion Mingle is located in New York City. This is primarily a remote position that requires communication by email, phone, and online meetings with team members. Attendance may be required at events and meetings in you are in the NYC metro area.
