- Engineering & Operations, which includes areas such as Construction, Design, Emergency Management, Environmental Management, Maintenance, Materials, Safety, Traffic Engineering & Operations.
- Finance & Administration, which includes areas such as Contracts, Grants, Financial Management, Procurement, Human Resources, and Organizational Development.
- Transportation Technology, which includes areas such as Geographic Information Systems, Surveying and Mapping, Information Technology, and Transportation Data & Analytics.
- Strategic Development, which includes Public Planning and Modal Development which promotes the safe and efficient movement of people and goods by rail, sea, air, aerospace, and road.
Requirements
To be eligible for an internship position at FDOT, you:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide identification supporting citizenship or authority to work for the duration of program participation.
- Must comply with all statutes and rules and the Department’s policies, procedures, regulations, and Code of Ethics.
- Must meet the minimum requirements of the position as advertised.
