About the role
Building the Next Generation of Local Talent
At W.W. Gay, we believe strong communities are built by investing in the next generation. We’re proud to support students across South Georgia and Florida who are interested in exploring careers in the mechanical construction industry.
Whether you’re a high school student beginning to explore your future or a college student preparing to enter the workforce, our internship opportunities provide a way to gain real-world insight and experience.
Submitting an interest form or application does not guarantee placement or follow-up, but it allows our team to review your information and stay connected when opportunities align.
We’re committed to helping students discover meaningful career paths and build a future close to home.
College Students
Our College Internship Program is a 10-week, paid experience running from May through August. Interns choose from Virtual Design Construction (VDC), Project Management, or Estimating and gain hands-on experience in their field while working alongside experienced professionals.
Beyond the day-to-day work, we believe internships should be both meaningful and memorable. Throughout the summer, interns connect as a group through team activities and local outings, building relationships while gaining a real sense of what a career at W.W. Gay looks like.
