About the job
Vision & Call Internship Program
Taproot Theatre Company’s “Vision & Call” Internship Program is sponsored by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust for the primary purpose of increasing the pool of talented emerging leaders entering non-profit careers, and for the secondary purpose of mentoring early career artists and empowering them to pursue their specific calling.
The “Vision & Call” intern positions are open to any theatre student or early career theatre professional who seeks to acquire new skills and experience within a non-profit theatre organization. Applicants do not need to profess the Christian faith or any specific faith identity. Although, they should be comfortable discussing topics of art, faith, calling, and creation through a curriculum that draws from Christian writers and artists. Selection will be based on the applicant’s career goals, professionalism, and availability.
Vision & Call interns will be asked to submit a reflection paper and a self-study project at the end of their internship experience.
