A&R INTERN - SPRING 2027

Please see below for breakdown of requirements and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

• Track radio and DSP chart data (e.g. Spotify, Shazam…)
• Participate in weekly A&R team meetings
• Identify great songs, songwriters, producers and artists through listening and research
• Brainstorm placement ideas for our catalogue of pitch songs
• Analyze the writer/producer credits on Spotify’s New Music Friday each week

Requirements:

• Must be LA-based
• Must be available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays
• Must be able to receive college credit
• Previous intern/work experience with record labels, management companies, and/or music publishers is preferred
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized
• Have a basic understanding of the landscape of songwriters, artists, managers, and A&R’s in the industry
