Agricultural Policy Sacramento Internship Program
Each summer, 5 college students are selected to work in a state government regulatory agency in Sacramento, specifically focused on agriculture policy. Maddy Interns gain firsthand experience addressing the unique challenges facing California's agriculture industry such as food safety, pesticide regulation, and environmental sustainability. This program provides an in-depth look at the policies shaping one of the San Joaquin Valley's most vital sectors, preparing students for a career in agriculture policy and public service.
