Candidates are students working toward a degree in Business, Marketing, Graphic Designing, or any related field. Candidates should have a strong passion for athletics, relationship building, and personal/professional development. You’ll have the opportunity to work with NFL, MLB, MiLB, and elite collegiate and high school athletes.

We’ve been blessed to work with some of the world’s best athletes at every level. Because of this, we expect the best out of our staff — this includes our interns. You’ll learn our processes for social media strategies and best ways to market campaigns, you will be able to build up your portfolio, and learn multiple facets of our business from our business operations staff here at DST.

Business Ops only Variation

You’ll assist our operations team in adapting our current operations systems to optimize efficiency. You will be able to build upon your leadership skills and learn multiple facets of our business from our business operations staff here at DST.

Business Ops Only Responsibilities:

• Data entry, filing and spreadsheet management
• Assist with client communications
• Adapt current business systems and processes to improve efficiency

Marketing Responsibilities:

Social Media

• Weekly Social Analytics Updating
• Monthly Profile Updates (seasonal/timely cover/profile picture updates, etc.)
• Engagement & Interaction
• 1-3 Posts Daily to Twitter, Facebook Page, Facebook Groups, Instagram
• Develop Marketing Strategies for Each Platform
• Audit website Content Creation/Curation
• New Media (photos, videos)
• Blogging Material (2+ per week) - Exercise of the Week (weekly)
• Industry-related content (weekly)
• Guest posts
• About DST Email Marketing
• Create Monthly Newsletters (Social Post, Blog, Athlete, Employee Highlight) By 7th of each month
• Create Email Marketing strategies outside of the monthly newsletter

Administrative Assistance

During Office Hours

• Answer phones
• Talk to parents
• Sell Merchandise

Customer Relationship Management

• Client Onboarding Assistance - Thank You Cards
• Add to e-mail lists
• Follow on Social Media
• Online Forms E-mail Follow-up

Requirements:

• Candidates must submit a cover letter and resume
• Must be pursuing a degree in related fields or general studies
• Committed to working through the length of a program

Hours:

Dependent on season/school requirements and intern schedule

Internship Dates:

Trimesters: Fall, Spring & Summer (Dates are flexible to school start/end dates)
