Seasonal Employment
The Youth Bureau is committed to an equitable work environment where everyone can thrive. We serve over 7,500 youth ages 0-20 annually and rely on part-time and seasonal staff to help our programs provide participants with fun, safe experiences that help them be active, make friends, expand their horizons, develop empathy and a sense of belonging, build skills and gain confidence.
We are seeking staff who are passionate and enthusiastic about working with children and families. We value diverse perspectives and encourage people of all backgrounds to apply, including people of color, women, people who identify as LGBTQ+, veterans, people with disabilities and those with a variety lived experiences.
Our programs have a variety of seasonal employment opportunities available throughout the year. Please note that availability of positions can change from year to year and season to season.
Position Requirements
- All Ithaca Youth Bureau seasonal positions working with youth require a background check, references, and a hiring process which will include an interview.
- Must be 18+
Cass and Stewart Park Day Camps
- Camp Inclusion Specialist for a child with a disability (must be 18+)
- Interviews and hiring for summer are typically conducted in March & April.
