Duties/Learning:
- Document procurement
- Plan takeoff (sewer, water, drainage, sitework, earthmoving)
- CAD takeoff, digitizing, 3D modeling using Trimble Business Center
- Pre-bid meeting attendance / site visits
- Cost estimate development using B2W Estimate
- Proposal preparation
- Bid delivery
Additional Exposure and Learning:
- Trimble Site Positioning, 3D GPS and laser grade control systems
- Field tracking using B2W Track
- Introduction to project/contract management using Vista by Viewpoint
- Introduction to earthwork equipment / fleet management
The minimum qualifications for this position are as follows:
- Candidate must be pursuing a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Interested in 3D CAD software usage and application
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Must be self-motivated to complete tasks and to learn
- Strong Verbal and written communication skills
